Your Right to Data Deletion

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection legislation, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by us.

This right, also known as the "right to be forgotten", allows you to request that we delete all personal data we have collected about you, except where a legal obligation prevents us from doing so.

How to Request Deletion

To request the deletion of your personal data, send an email to our contact address including the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account
  • A description of the data you wish to delete

What Data Will Be Deleted

After verifying your identity, we will proceed to delete the following data:

  • Account information (name, email, phone)
  • Usage data and preferences
  • WhatsApp message history (if applicable)
  • Configuration and personalization preferences

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained due to legal obligations or legitimate interest:

  • Financial and billing records (10-year legal retention obligation)
  • Anonymized data for statistical purposes (which cannot identify you)
  • Data required by law or court order

In case of partial retention, we will inform you in detail about which data is retained and the legal basis for doing so.

Processing Timeline

We process all deletion requests within a maximum of 30 calendar days from receipt of the request.

You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion has been completed. If we need more time due to the complexity of the request, we will inform you within the initial 30-day period.

WhatsApp Data

Qleven processes data through the WhatsApp Cloud API on behalf of businesses that use our platform. If you have received messages from a business through Qleven:

  • Contact the business that sent you the messages directly to request the deletion of your data from their system.
  • Additionally, you may request that we delete any copy of data that Qleven holds as a data processor.

Qleven acts as a data processor on behalf of businesses that use our platform. The business is the data controller.
